Baby Shower

A baby shower is a way to celebrate the pending or recent birth of a child by presenting gifts to the parents at a formal, invitational party.

Traditionally, a baby shower is held only for the mother-to-be, and only women attend. The original intent was for women to share wisdom and lessons on the art of becoming a mother. Many people now choose to have baby showers for both parents.

Baby shower's include food, games and the giving of gifts.
