Hen Night

A bachelorette party, hen party, hen do, or hen night, is a party held for a woman who is about to be married. It may also be referred to as a girls' night out.

The term "hen party" comes from the henna plant which is part of wedding traditions in North Africa, the Middle East, and parts of Asia. In these traditions, henna tattoos are applied to the bride's hands on the night before the wedding.
