Sky Lanterns

Sky Lanterns are constructed from thin paper on a bamboo frame, and have a fuel cell composed of a waxy material.
When lit, the flame heats the air inside the lantern, sending it up into the sky where they can achieve quite a height.
The Sky Lantern is only airborne for as long as the flame stays alight, after which the lantern floats back to the ground.
Sky lanterns are also referred to as sky candles, fire balloons and chinese lanterns, and are used at weddings, birthdays and many other special occaisions.
